Minas Tirith is the exact structural and mythological inverse of Isengard.

Concave, bowl-like Isengard is a ring of an organic (albeit destroyed) element with the inorganic black stone tower of Orthanc (a phallic symbol) at its center.

Convex and cone-like, Minas Tirith is a ring of inorganic white stone structures with the organic element of the White Tree (coupled with the fountain, a yonic symbol) at its center.
